A large margharita thanks

Gareth and I were having dinner with a friend a few weeks back and the guy making our pizza and pasta had this t-shirt on. I thought it was the funniest thing I had seen in a long time and wondered how old it was. I told our friend I would design a card that had someone wearing that t-shirt, and if we sold one at Rose Street I would buy him a pizza. I still owe him a pizza and you can buy it yourself on Etsy if there is someone out there that makes you heart beat faster.

Deux Calendar!

This is the second Able and Game calender we have designed with a focus on the different fashions worn throughout the different seasons. It is also in A4 format and is available on Etsy. I will be working on some more during the week and hopefully they will feature some ladies. I seem to be drawing a lot of men at the moment.

We are coming to Sydney!

Gareth and I are both very excited that Able and Game will be taking part in the Sydney Finders Keepers Market in December. The market is on Friday 4th December from 6pm-10pm and then on Saturday 5th December from 10am-8pm at Carriage Works in Eveleigh. We will have our full range of cards including Christmas Cards as well as 2010 Calendars, prints and some other new items I'm working at the moment. For those of you in Melbourne, we will still be at Rose Street that weekend. Gareth is working on a cloning machine as we speak.

Our first Able and Game 2010 Calendar is available in our Etsy shop. It features our Why Yes I Have Been Working Out man doing what he does best, working out. We will have some more designs coming soon featuring other card designs as well as some new designs.

Don't you need protective clothing?

If you watched the video in our last post and thought the guy who cleaned up nuclear waste was pretty funny then you might like this card. He is a little bit unsure of himself, something I put down to his lack of protective clothing. We have listed this new Able and Game card in our Etsy shop and it will also be available at Rose Street this weekend.

I want all these guys on all our cards

"Hi, my name is Munro. Aah you've probably already noticed that I have increadibly blue eyes"

"I'm a 25 year subscriber to both Playboy and the New Yorker Magazine"

"Life is a playground and I want someone to play with"

"I'm interested in most phases of data processing" (that is Gareth BTW)

Thanks to @ArmyofDolls for the clip.

Things Gareth and I love this much:

Animal Collective coming in December
Some words to laugh at, via @sheepsclothing
Getting the 5th top score for this game

What are you doing tomorrow night?

I know what Gareth will be doing, hogging the free atari and enjoying some half price food. If you're in the area, why not get a work out and take the stairs up to the Revolver Designers Market where you will find our cards, plus badges and t-shirts from Fair Weather Friends, handmade brooches from Kalliopi and handmade lingerie from Hopeless along with many more.

Going to Daylesford?

Last year I planned a special birthday surprise for Gareth and we spend a few days in Daylesford. We had an ooh la la fancy meal at the Lake House, had some pre drinks at Breakfast and Beer, stayed in a pretty cottage and had some nice ladies touch our backs to the sound of water and birds via a CD player. But what we didn't have was the lovely Lark Shop to go to, as they just opened up week ago. The space looks beautiful and if you look in the middle distance you can see our cards sitting there. If you're going to be in Daylesford, here are the details:

4a Duke Street

Open 10.30am - 4pm
Daily (except Wed)

Now I think I need to start planning another trip away, Gareth's birthday is coming up soon and I am sure he wont protest.
