On my what?

People who hang around on boats know how to do the following things well:

  • tie knots (if you can't tie knots tie lots and lots!)
  • let flares off on merry occasions like New Years Eve
  • swim without floaties

This long overdue card (the idea was discussed over New Years with friends) is available on Etsy. I'm guessing this lifejacket wearing guy would name his boat something like A Wave From It All, Fah Get A Boat It or maybe even Feelin Nauti.

Craft Hatch

This Saturday Craft Hatch will be running at the State Library of Victoria from 11am - 4pm in the Experimedia room and we will be there. I've always wanted to go along to this market but because our weekends are always busy doing markets I've not had a chance. So I fixed that by doing the market! You can see who else will be there on the Craft Hatch website, including Emily Green who I saw her at Rose Street last Sunday and her badges are some pretty serious awesome.

Wes Says

We have had this cute little range of cards called Wes Says for a few months now and I just realised we had not put them online. Wes started off as just a good luck card and we decided he was so cute he could go from bit part to full speaking roll. Each card has a specific colour scheme and they all come with a matching envelope. We have six cards now available on Etsy with Wes saying the following:

Hot and Cold

On Monday I spent the day on the beach in Adelaide where it was warm and sunny (and also the same in Melbourne I think?). However something went a little awry with the old weather and it is back to heaters, hot water bottles and holy moly I'm cold. It is enough to cause you to make cards about how much you can't wait for summer to come. I also think it might be our first topless card. Te he!

He will be making his little debut at Rose Street tomorrow and we will get him up on Etsy ASAP. If you can't wait, we have a listing for a card and you can buy that and tell us you want this little heart breaker.

Canon in D

If you've been to a few weddings then I'm sure you've heard Pachelbel's Canon in D. If you can't remember how it goes you can listen to it on Youtube, complete with still drawing of Johann (video cameras were not around in the 1700s!).

This card might seem a little familiar to you, the guy with the little keyboard asking for some AA batteries also features in a birthday card and Christmas card. We have started adding to our range by adapting some of existing cards into different occasions and the AA battery guy works well as there are lots of occasions where songs are required. The AA Battery wedding card is available on Etsy as well as our markets this weekend. We will be at Bowerbird Bizaar in Adelaide as well as Rose Street this weekend.
