I Tues Tues Choose You!

Aaah Victoria. Always full of lovely things to say about her husbie. Did you ever date someone that was rather pretty but not offering much in the way of deep spirituality? We made the card below inspired by Ms. Beckham and wonder if she thinks David's looks are a bonus? Do you think he's ever asked her this: would you still love me Vic, even if I was an ugger who worked in a Pound Shop opposite the train station?
This card is available on Etsy with a very pretty boy on the front. Check out his cheekbones, you could cut diamonds with them.

I Tues Tues Choose You!

This week's Tues Tues Choose you comes from the lovely JenniAni, queen of the romcom and one liners about what the best smell in the world is. I'm just wondering, was her fellow a Brut or Old Spice kinda guy? I think the guy on this card below is probably a Rexona For Men man, if it worked for him at 15 why wont it work for him at 35? He is available on Etsy and you could easily turn this card into a scratch 'n sniff by spraying it with a bit of colonge then taping that area up with some foil. Sure it might look a bit weird but it is interactive and people love that!

What's New Pussycat?

This week was a pretty fun week. We got to see the Yen Fashion show with a bunch of girls from Leeloo. We had a lovely weekend at Rose Street hanging with our Rose Street people. And this weekend we are over to Adelaide for Bowerbird Bazaar. We also have some new cards. A couple of new cards for Mother's Day in May and a redesign of an old romantic card:

The Award For Best Mum is all about George Clooney or Alec Baldwin giving you're Mum a special statue. Maybe that would be a good gify for Mother's Day, get your Mum a trophy that says World's Best Mum. I'm sure it isn't that hard, and you know it would go straight to the pool room.

You're Fun Mum
is for those fun loving Mums. Maybe the ones that organised disco pizza parties where all your friends got to make their own pizza and you danced to 2unlimited. Let me hear you say yeah!

Leave Your Toothbrush
is for that time in your relationship when you start using each other's toothbrush and you don't seem to mind. Sharing gingivitis is kinda like getting married right?

Calendars + Winners

Thank you to everyone who entered our sticker giveaway on Wednesday. We had some really great suggestions and I've taken a few onboard I've make up some new sticker packs which we will upload to the shop next week (but if you come to Rose Street this weekend we will have some). The winner of the sticker giveaway was House of Cards who suggested Fruity Lexia on a sticker (because everyone looks sexier when you drink it!). For those of you who missed out, we will have another giveaway next week.

I've also made up some more of our long thin calendars. We sold them before Christmas at the markets and I didn't like the idea of shelving them till December so I've just added another two months for next year, so they are currently from March 2010 - February 2011. I know it isn't the conventional calendar rules, but I really enjoyed making them as the packaging used pages from an old atlas and I got to pull out the sewing machine again. We will be listing them online next week and will have a small amount at Rose Street this weekend.

I Tues Tues Choose You!

Aaaah celebrities, they say the darndest things. And when romance is involved, well it just gets even better. Today's I Tues Tues Choose You comes from the ever delightful Katy Perry, who kissed a girl a whole 13 years after Jill Sobule. Katy is engaged to Russell Brand and came out with this delightful quote, which makes me wonder if she really thinks he is stupid.

What do you do with these nuggets of wisdom? Well we think you should turn them into greeting cards. This card makes Gareth confused as he thinks it sounds a bit mean, but I think it can also be nice it just depends on who you give it to. What do you think? Do you know someone it would be perfect for? We have put it up on our Etsy shop and will have it available at Rose Street Artist Market this weekend.

What's New Pussycat?

When you do weekend markets it kind of turns the week into a bit of a back to front week. While everyone is going all Thank God It's Friday at the end of the week, we are usually working into the night getting ready for the markets. Come Monday, while everyone is suffering from Mondayitis, we can have a nice lie in and a relaxing morning reading in bed, or playing Bookworm in bed. With a whole week ahead, I enjoy Monday as I think of all the things I will get done.

So what is new in Able and Game land? We have been busy sending orders out to shops, getting ready for markets and making new products. So without further ado, this is what is new pussycat!

Here are some of the new shops to keep an eye out for if they are in your neck of the woods:

New Products

We have some new sticker packs in our Etsy Store. The packs have 18 stickers with six different designs and we currently have two different packs. The boy pack (shown below) with some of the guys features on our cards and some of the saying from the cards, as well as a new 'I'm stuck on you' guy. The other sticker pack features our Little Shoes designs with soft pastel colours, pretty shoes and half tone patterns.

The stickers come in a cute little pack with some blue stitching and are perfect for putting anywhere a sticker should go. For Gareth that was on the back of the remote.

Markets

And lastly, it's only two weeks till we will be in Adelaide for the Bowerbird Bizaar. I'm super excited because I will get to see my Adelaide favourites Naomi Murrell. I got one of Naomi's Flock Screenprints and it is so perfect, although I still need to frame it up. There will also be a bunch of Melbourne people coming over including Gaye Abandon, Rebound Books, Twiglet, Shabana Jacobson, Victoria Mason and Oktoberdee. If you do come along pop by and say hello!

Kitties and Barry!

Barry Manilow has a wardrobe even your cat is envious of! I turned this little drawing into a print, but someone requested it as a card at the Brunswick Sister's Market a few weeks ago, so now it is also a card. A card for what occasion I do not know, but any cards involving cats gets my tick!

Speaking of Sister's Markets, we will be at the St. Kilda Sister's Market this Saturday. It is at the St. Kilda town hall, on the
corner of Brighton Road and Carlisle Street from 10am-4pm. Then on Sunday we will be at the Hawthorn Craft Market, 358 Burwood Road, Hawthorn from 10am-3pm. We will also be at Rose Street on Saturday and Sunday and then on Monday we will be taking is super super easy as Sunday is a big birthday for me, so drinks will be had on Sunday night!
